The Adult Choir rehearses the assembly’s music to lead it, sings music beyond the congregation’s capacity, and serves responsively in alternation with the congregation. The repertoire includes traditional and contemporary hymns found in the Breaking Bread Hymnal, and motets, chant, spirituals, and anthems spanning over six centuries of sacred music repertory. Through these prayerful experiences, we gather not only with one another and with the members of our parish, but also with the church throughout the world and throughout the ages. New members are accepted throughout the year without audition.
