Important Announcement From Fr. Paul

Dear St Michael Family,

After much consultation I have made the decision to cancel the 8am, 10:30am and 12:15pm on Sunday January 25 due to the impending snow storm.
I made this decision based on the condition of parking lot and the safety and well being of our parish family. All other activities are cancelled.
 
HOWEVER, the Saturday 5:00pm Mass will be celebrated as usual. I have also added a 7:00pm Mass this Saturday. Both of the Masses will be live-streamed.  Click the “Worship Online” tab below to access our live-stream.  Please share this information with your family members.  I call your attention to the Offertory. If you cannot attend either Mass, please make up your giving the next weekend. It is important that we not let this slide especially with the costs of snow removal and salting the campus. There is also the option of signing up for GiveCentral, our online giving option. Click on the “Giving” tab below to access the platform.
 
Archbishop  Lori reminds Catholics in the Archdiocese of Baltimore that Church law excuses them from fulfilling the Sunday obligation to attend Mass due to a grave cause, such as unsafe travel due to severe weather conditions.
 
Finally, please look out for your neighbors especially the elderly and those who are sick and homebound. If you are out grocery shopping, consider asking them if they need anything.
 
Let us pray for the safety of the homeless, those who will be out plowing and those who are essential in their areas of employment.

Mass Schedule & Office Hours

Vigil Mass is Saturday at 5pm in the Large Church
Sunday Mass is held at 8am, 10:30am (Livestreamed), and 12:15pm in the Large Church
Daily Mass is held at 9am in the Historic Chapel Monday through Saturday
Holy Day Masses are held at 9am and 7pm

The office is open Monday – Friday, 9:30am – 4:30pm

 
 
 
 

Inclement Weather Policy:

If the Howard County Public School System is closed, all events and activities at St. Michael are cancelled. If HCPSS is delayed, all morning events and activities (including 9 am Mass) are cancelled. We resume normal activities when HCPSS opens. During the weekend, Masses happen unless the Archbishop grants a dispensation. All changes to our schedule will be posted on our parish website and Facebook page.
